In keeping with our “Own Your Integration” philosophy, we do not offer security solutions that are proprietary to NMA. We recognize that payment card security is of extreme importance to our processing partners and our business management and point of sale developers. Our goal is to ensure our partner developers are compliant with all applicable rules.
Some available technologies are:
- End-to-End Encryption via encrypted readers.
- VeriFone’s Verishield Protect which can encrypt transactions from the swipe to the network while also providing encryption for keyed transactions, too.
- ECR Integration – a very simple integration between a point-of-sale system and a simple VeriFone terminal which minimizes data transfer.
- Tokenization technology which passes tokenized data rather than the card data for stored transactions, tip adjustments, recurring billing, returns, etc.
- Server Side Integration (web redirect) – a method where card data never touches your application.
